Free Exchange Program for CIU Students at FH Joanneum University of Applied Sciences in Graz (Austria)

An agreement has been reached between Caucasus International University and FH Joanneume University of Applied Sciences in Graz (Austria) to give an opportunity to CIU journalism students and professors to participate in free exchange programs at the University.

According to Zaza Tsotniashvili, Supervisor of Undergraduate Program in Journalism and Postgraduate Program in Media Studies and Multimedia Production at CIU, the negotiations on the Memorandum of Understanding have been going on for about a semester. He said that this international agreement is another step forward in terms of internationalization.

Zaza Tsotniashvili:

“I visited the University in Graz to participate in the training of trainers on hybrid education in October, 2018. A common idea was formed to establish close cooperation with Caucasus International University after communicating with them, which would allow our university students and professors to enjoy the rich multimedia opportunities of Graz University.

A big initiative came from CIU authorities. Our interests became even closer after the dialogue, and a memorandum of understanding was composed, where the most important point is the fact that the University of Graz will offer exchange programs completely for free to our students and professors. This will enable many interested people to share international knowledge and experience in the field of multimedia.”

Professor Zaza Tsotniashvili noted that FH Joanneume University of Applied Sciences in Graz is rich in multimedia resources and powerful technological capabilities. He hoped that this unique opportunity, which carries no mercantile interest, will be used by many students, which will give them international knowledge and experience.
